Performances ranging from Bollywood and Bhangra singing and dancing, a Chinese Lion Dance, a steel band and much, much more will be running from 2pm until late.
For those who want to get more involved, there’s also a full programme of workshops and taster sessions catering for all ages to sample another culture.
The workshops include Egyptian, Hip Hop and Folk dancing, African Drumming, reiki, shiatsu massage and reflexology taster sessions as well as a variety of cultural crafts.
For younger visitors there’s nail art, hair braiding, face painting, storytelling and the Bristol Playbus and crèches will be available so that parents and guardians to take part in workshops.
On top of all this will be a Food Festival Marquee with demonstrations and a Farmer’s Market, an Indian Bazaar and a Chinese Quarter with Henna workshops, Kite and Jewellery Making, Tabla Demonstrations, calligraphy, cooking demos, birth signs and a lot more.
And these are just a few of the things taking place!
The Festival of Culture is set to be a landmark in the South Gloucestershire events calendar, so make sure you don’t miss it!
