The Heritage Centre held a series of slavery workshops and interactive dramas.
The Engage Anti-slavery exhibition entitled Impact was also previewed featuring a lot of new research regarding slavery and anti-slavery in the area.
Even such small places as Wickwar and Hawkesbury played significant roles in the history of the British slave trade during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
