About Engage

Want to know more about Engage ?

Taking in the bicentenary of the abolition of slavery in the British colonies, it will also be a time of commemoration and an opportunity to remember a landmark in the development of our cultural identity. An exhibition revealing the role of South Gloucestershire in the Abolition will be touring the district.

The project is a partnership between South Gloucestershire Council, schools, community groups and organisations. We are encouraging everyone in the community to take part, celebrate and promote their culture, whether putting on an event or helping with the organisation of the project.
